REGATTA DEBRIEF & RESULTS

The 2025 470 North American Championship brought big fleets, big names, and big pressure and Team American Wave rose to the occasion. Across four days of racing in Long Island, NY, we stayed consistent, executed strong starts, and showed the speed we’ve been working so hard to build.

We came away with 5 race wins and a 5-point lead over the 10-boat fleet, ultimately securing the gold medal. A highlight of the week was lining up against two-time Olympian Lara Dallman-Weiss with Justin Callahan, as well as top U.S. teams like Micky Munns and Candace Oswald, and proving that our preparation and teamwork can deliver results under pressure.

In the end, standing atop the podium at North Americans was about more than the medal, it was confirmation that our campaign is on track, our process is working, and that we’re ready for the challenges ahead on the road to LA 2028.
