Our first international regatta as Team American Wave was an unforgettable experience! Over 16 days in Croatia, we sailed 15 of them, averaging 5+ hours a day in everything from light 4-knot breezes to 28-knot blasts. Against a world-class fleet of 38 boats, we battled through 11 races and proudly finished 20th overall, highlighted by a thrilling 2nd-place finish in one race that proved our speed and potential are right there with the top of the fleet.

This trip was all about growth, sharpening our starts, learning from every race, and building valuable connections with international teams. Beyond the racing, it was pure joy to shred back to shore on the windiest day, reconnect with sailors from Nikki’s Tokyo campaign, and soak up the incredible sailing culture in Croatia.
